Abia North senatorial zone has been represented since 1999 by our sons, who have individually done their best. However, the people of the zone with a good landmass and population feel that, considering the enormous billions earmarked for constituency projects, their efforts are still far from reality.
One of the ways that Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu will do things differently with the constituency project fund is through;
- 1. Accountability
- 2. Bills that meet the aspirations of the people of Abia North.
- 3. Provision for all the physically disabled and challenged people.
- 4. Requesting and prioritising the immediate needs of each local government and planning alongside the needs in order of priority.
- 5. Paying greater attention to the educational needs of the zone. Education is key to human capital development.
- 6. Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu shall sponsor a 4-year scholarship for all identified physically challenged persons.
- 7. Our incoming senator will set aside funds in synergy with the state government to identify the potential tourist and African heritage artifacts within the zone and enhance their status.

It is interesting to note that the ECK foundation has since commenced an in-depth field study to determine the number of physically challenged persons in all the local governments that make up the zone.
Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu is a barrier breaker, and 2027 will not differ from a well-known terrain.
A wise man leaves the scene when the ovation is highest and the time to retire the old order is now.
