…Abia’s Progress is a Shared Responsibility – OTTIMENIA Stands With Governor Otti
Abuja, Nigeria – Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor – “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom), has hailed the wave of solidarity and support rallying around Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. He described the growing unity as a powerful testament that men and women who genuinely care about the welfare of Ndi Abia are ready to stand behind the state’s progressive agenda.
Recent weeks have witnessed an unprecedented influx of notable politicians joining the Labour Party in solidarity with Governor Otti. From the recent mega reception in Umuahia, the state capital where many stakeholders decamped in solidarity, to the Ukwa Ngwa experience, to the Bende, Arochukwu and across all 17 local government areas of Abia State, grassroots support is surging—a clear reflection of the love and appreciation of the governor whose administration has brought tangible dividends of democracy to the people.
The official decamping of 2023 PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Hon. Jasper Uche from APC where he joined the OTTIMENIA Movement, as well as previous decamping of immediate past deputy governor of Abia State, HE, Rt. Hon. Udo Oko-Chukwu to Labour Party, and host of others, is a strong signal that progressive minded stakeholders are happy with the progress Abia has made under Governor Alex Otti “The OTTIMENIA Mega Industrialization Drive”.
Ambassador Offor therefore, sent a firm message to politicians seeking to obstruct Governor Otti’s initiatives with usual empty promises: “Leadership is not about personal glory; it is about the transformative impact on the lives of the people. When a governor is delivering real progress, wisdom suggests there’s no need for political rivalry at this time. Rather, see it as opportunity to encourage the good works for continuity; do not distract them—unless your ambitions are for self-aggrandizement rather than the upliftment of our people.”
He concluded by calling on all stakeholders in Abia politics to embrace unity and collective purpose for the positive development our God’s Own State: “Abia’s progress cannot be held hostage to petty politics. Let every responsible leaders ask themselves—are you building the state or breaking its stride? Ndi Abia deserve nothing less than solidarity for development, it is a duty we own to our people, to support tested progress”
Ambassador Offor used this medium to congratulate notable stakeholders like Rep Alex Ikwechegh, Hon. Jasper Uche, Rt Hon. Ude Oko-Chukwu, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu (ECK), Hon. Ncheta Omerekpe, Chief GOC Nnaji, Hon. Rowland Dennis, Hon. Ugochukwu Collins, Chief Chinagorom Nwankpa, and host of others who have joined the OTTIMENIA Movement to be part of the legacy and in support of continuity and better Abia of our dreams that has come to manifestation under the able hands of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.
