As he pursues his primary goal of establishing the ECK Foundation globally, the organization’s president and CEO has fulfilled his pledge to keep transforming young people’s lives through high-quality education at all levels. He subscribes to the theory that giving young people a voice through education, skill development, and other forms of vocational empowerment that can give their lives meaning and hope is the greatest way to save them and get them off the streets to fight crime.
Remember that in 2023, the ECK Foundation gave Miss Glory Oluchi Sunday, a 400-level student at Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ikwo in Ebonyi State, N60,000 Naira to cover her tuition? Other secondary students also benefited from WAEC Registration, which made those beneficiaries happy and welcomed relief for the families whose burdens were lifted.
Considering the initiatives the humanitarian foundation has planned to lessen the impact of poverty on humanity, this is merely the tip of the iceberg.
Her recent agreement to collaborate with sister foundations, such as IG Aguowo foundations to enhance education and healthcare in Anambra State and Kpang Sanwi Chiefdom to serve disadvantaged women and widows in Taraba State, is one example.
The ECK foundation hosted Mr. Emeka Njoku Mmadu earlier today in their Umuahia office. He was representing his daughter, Miss Chigemezu D. Mmadu, a student at the Federal Government College, Abaji FCT, who was awarded a scholarship by the foundation. In keeping with their primary goals, the foundation gave him the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira (250,000) in her customary open and transparent manner.
After collecting the funds, Mr. Mmadu prayed for God’s protection for himself and his family and thanked the ECK foundation and President Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu for their generosity and selflessness in providing for the needs of the people.
Following the presentation, the foundation’s employees disclosed the CEO’s ambitious ambitions to launch a bursary programme for all Abia University students, with a particular focus on those from the Abia North Senatorial District, whose welfare is given priority in his plans. They said that the plans are already well-developed and should begin to take shape at any moment.
