Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu, the President and CEO of the ECK Foundation, has urged all Christians to love one another as Christ loved humanity by shedding his blood on the cross of cavalry to free mankind, expressing the greatest and ultimate sacrifice for others by enduring pain and shame on the cross. Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death.
In a press release issued by his media office and provided to Newsmen, the Chairman of Stercoll Energy Services Limited, USA encouraged Christians to give hope to the destitute, emphasizing the necessity of doing so in light of Nigeria’s economic difficulties.
“I send my sincere Easter greetings to everyone as we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
“Let us keep in mind the great importance of Easter and its message of redemption and unending hope during this time of optimism and rebirth.
“Let us, amidst the current challenges of Nigeria’s economy, remain steadfast, beacons of hope in our communities, just as the selfless sacrifice of Christ on the cross brought eternal hope to mankind.”, he said.
Chief Kalu also admonished believers to resurrect the spirit of kindness and compassion.
