Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu, the CEO of Stercoll Energy Services Limited, USA and President of the ECK Foundation, has penned a heartfelt tribute to honour dads on dads’ Day in 2024. He encouraged them to never give up or yield in the face of the current economic pressures they are experiencing under Tinubu’s government, calling them load bearers and lights for their families.
He penned a brief note to all fathers.

“To all of the wonderful fathers out there, happy Father’s Day! We honour your love, wisdom, and steadfast support today. Your unselfish devotion to your family and your selflessness are very amazing. Your influence impacts the lives of your children, and you are the rocks that hold families together.
The current economic crisis that Nigerians are experiencing has put tremendous pressure on you as the heads of your families, therefore I urge you all to resist giving in to these pressure or compromising your moral principles. God will get you out of your prison and reveal a brilliant light at the end of this painful tunnel.
I hope you have happiness, pride, and treasured memories with your loved ones on this unique day. For whatever you accomplish, you should be recognised and given gratitude.
