As the wave of political emancipation has continued to hit Africa in a more spectacular manner as never seen before, Nigerian youths has taken up the challenge to reposition themselves in the political landscape by becoming responsible to their destiny and process of political decisions, policies formulation and active participation in election processes that will determine their future and that of the next generation.
As a youth driven political movement, National Youth Alliance, NYA, has been in the forefront of galvanizing youth participation in leadership process of Nigeria and giving the younger generation a platform to exercise their civic right of choosing their leaders through legitimate process in a transparent election.
In furtherance of this drive for better Nigeria, the formidable leadership of National Youth Alliance, has appointed dedicated and capable youths across the 36 states of Nigeria to continue to brainstorm, plan and drive the process for greater role in Nigeria leadership. This latest effort is geared towards strengthening the internal working structure of the association for the tasks ahead.
The Southeast NYA chapter under the leadership of Hon. Prince Lawrence Tochukwu, sees their appointment as a clarion call to action in effort to salvage Nigeria and put her back on the path of true progress through a leadership that will understand the yearnings, heartbeat, aspirations and will be responsible to the people.
As a Nationalist movement for like minds, the NYA is a conglomerate of concerned Nigerian Youths, irrespective of tribe, ethnicity, religion or creed and transcends party line. The Southeast Chairman and his executives, as well as leaders at States and other levels are determined to work tirelessly to bring the youths together with one voice, one mind and one purpose as patriots to rescue Nigeria from further ruin.
Indeed it is “Youth-O’Clock” in Nigeria as 2027 promises a fresh breath in the political landscape of the popular and prosperous nation.
