The management of ECK Foundation wishes to make it known to crooked-minded people and the general public that the purpose of establishing our foundation is to contribute our quota in complimenting the government and good-spirited people in the effort of helping the poor and the needy amongst us who little act of kindness can go a long way to save their lives and give them hope for better future.

Unfortunately, some unscrupulous elements are on various scheming actions to falsely extort from the kind President of the foundation, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, through orchestrated lies and deceit. Let it be known to them that as a philanthropic entity, we have our set criteria for selecting people who truly need the help we offer. It would be foolhardy for Fraudsters to think they can just call in with cooked-up stories to get money out of the foundation, thereby deriding the good intentions of the management and probably make us stop giving help to the ones I need.

We will continue to keep faith with the people and the empathy driving our charity will never be waned, by the action of a few bad eggs. The Fraudsters are by this notice warned to desist from this bad practice of calling to bother the founder with fictitious stories to get money out of the foundation as we will henceforth conduct a proper investigation to ascertain the genuineness of who gets our help.

We will continue to offer help to cushion the terrible effects of the present economic downturn on the people, but it must follow a due process of investigation and authentication through the ECK Foundation office.

Thanks for your support and continuous belief in the contributions we are making. It will get better until many are lifted out of poverty because we rise by lifting others.

Michael Ejimogu Kalu
Manager, ECK Foundation.
