The President of ECK Foundation, and convener of Global Initiative for Good Governance, GIGG, Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu, has described as undemocratic and unacceptable, the systemic and unwarranted displacement of the Igbo people in Lagos, saying that power is only fair when it is used for the right purposes to the good of all
According to the PDP Chieftain and one time gobernstorial candidate in Abia state, no singular individual has the right to use state power again another individual or a group of people in a bid to chase political vendetta, no matter the provocation because we are all Nigerians with equal rights to live in any part of the nation or do business.
“I am concluding that this is a political vendetta against Ndigbo because materials out there exist to give credence to the events of today, from thuggery against Ndigbo during the last 2023 elections , especially in Lagos, using state apratus and individuals who were never questioned to date, but rather rewarded with appointment states the obvious. This actions speak against our constitution that guarantee us of the right to vote for candidates of our choosing in every election”.
LET ME QUOTE MADAM TINUBU FROM A VIRAL VIDEO SHARED BY JACKSON UDE ON X:
“We Will Chase Out The Igbos In Lagos And Inherit Their Properties And Lands”. – Tinubu’s wife, Remi Tinubu, now First Lady, tells Ndi Igbo In Lagos State in 2019 if they refuse to vote the APC.
It’s happening already. Igbos are losing their properties and businesses for voting Labour Party!
This is not far from the truth and must be condemned by any well meaning Nigerian, lovers of freedom and peaceful coexistence as one nation.
The people holding brief to power today should know that power in transient and must change hands at one point. When everybody saddled with power at one point began to use it with impunity, Nigeria will slide into a state of anarchy.
“I am calling on every good Nigerian to call power managers in Lagos to order. Nigeria is one nation and no tribe should be used as sacrificial lamb to be dealt with at will.
“To every cause, there is effect. To every action, there are consequences. Nigeria belongs to all of us and we must treat each other with respect”, he concluded.
