In the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations( AFCON) tournament being held in Ivory Coast, the Nigeria Super Eagles have wonderfully proven their determination to slog it out with the host Country having defeated South Africa in yesterday Semi final match. This creditable performance confirms the spirited determination and preparedness of our players to participate in the finals of which expectations are high that Nigeria will be returning with the trophy.
I write to congratulate our gallant boys, the Nigeria Football Federation, and the entire management team who at their discretion robustly prepared for the tournament. It is a manifestation of trust, boldness, and commitment to deliver in their call of duty as players and organizers of the football competitions. Moreover, the Super Eagles through their commendable performances have demonstrated their readiness to take back the lost glory of national teams.
You are all encouraged to put in more effort towards emerging the winner and make Nigeria proud at least to commiserate with the huge amount of money being previously wasted, looted, and unaccounted for in the last fifteen years of mismanagement in NFF. Nigeria as the giant of Africa has been a lost old honor that must be reclaimed through this ongoing soccer competition and your resilience in working to ensure victory is achieved would heave a sigh of relief for us all.
Finally, I am of the strong view that as Eagles, you would be flying without becoming weary; as Eagles, your outstanding prowess among other birds would surely give you an edge on the final day of the competition; as Eagles, you are expected to arrive home with flying colors. Once more, ” More powers to your elbow” Bravo!
