According to Dr. Kalu, Atiku possesses the qualities, experience, and vision necessary to rescue Nigeria from its current economic woes.
Dr. Kalu, who is also the Director General of Global Initiatives For Good Governance (GIGG), believes that Atiku’s impressive track record in leadership, particularly during his tenure as Vice President, makes him the ideal candidate to revive Nigeria’s economy. Atiku’s efforts in promoting economic liberalization, trade investments, and job creation have earned him a reputation as a “rational game-changer”.
Dr. Kalu lamented the state of Nigeria’s economy, citing rising hunger, high cost of living, naira depreciation, insecurity, and unemployment. He argued that the country needs a leader with the wisdom, character, sound education, and detribalized mindset to govern effectively. In his opinion, Atiku fits the bill.
