The President of ECK Foundation Worldwide, Chief Dr Emeka Charles Kalu, has send his heartfelt sympathy message to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Gov. Seyi Mankinde, and the entire state over the accident of Gas Trunk Explosion that claimed innocent lives and wounding others, praying that God should give them strength in the face of this trail.
This was contained in a brief communique he personally signed and addressed to the government on Wednesday from his US base.

MY HEARTFELT SYMPATHY ON THE IBADAN GAS TRUNK LINE EXPLOSION.
Sir,
I was deeply saddened on receipt of the painful and unexpected explosion that rocked your State capital claiming two lives and leaving scores seriously injured and devastated. This sad news occurred as a result of the activities of illegal mining prevalent in the State of which your government has publicly condemned.
Your Swift response in deploying emergency Management team to contain the situation truly confirms that you are a committed leader who has the love of his people at heart. .In this trying time , I encourage you to remain steadfast as you have the support of ECK Foundation as circumstances may demand.
On this note , it is of great importance as your government strictly puts measures towards curbing this ugly menace against further recurrence . On behalf of my family and the entire management of ECK Foundation, we sincerely express our healthfelt feelings , praying for the repose of the souls of the departed while wishing those in intensive care units quick and speedy recovery .
